Peace out sucka!!

Tom DeLay come on down!! You're the next victim of a Democratic vendatta!
Or not. So by now you've all heard that House Majority leader Tom DeLay has been indicted on a campaign finance case and consquently the bloggersphere has imploded.
I'm just doing my part.
Washington Post
"A Texas grand jury today indicted Rep. Tom DeLay (R-Tex.) on a criminal count of conspiring with two political associates to violate state campaign finance law, and DeLay announced he was temporarily stepping down as House majority leader."
CNN
""I have done nothing unlawful, unethical or, I might add, unprecedented," he said.
So if its been done before....its ok? What up....1800s?
I wonder if good ole buddy John McCain will crack down on DeLay as he did earlier on MLB Player Union's Chief
Also in the news is the new man in charge of the House Rep. Roy Blunt . He will take over DeLay's role as House Majority Leader. Now what's funny is that DeLay is forced to step down by the same rules Republicans inserted in the House back in the mid 1990's to get rid of Democrats in leadership roles who they "brought charges" agains on order to start the Republican Revolution. How cute would it be if these same rules brought the GOP to its knees? Paging Bill Frist.
Blunt is also the Chairman of the Gas Price Task Force for the House.
Its newest idea is one that sounds like just putting the problem of today's gas reliance off till tomorrow. From the newest press release, "I'm also pleased that you have decided to move to the next level and entertain the idea of developing a slate of Federal Fuels that will help stabilize our fuels market during times of disruption".
Ah oh glorious day.
Oh and don't say he didn't warn us. Bush warns US of more violent times in Iraq. But hey the mission its accomplished. He could also warn us of the impending civil war.
Or thats my beloved Tom Friedman's idea of how things should be let go in Iraq. And the thing is I really respect alot of this man's work. I don't think he's right in calling for us to promote a deadly and bloody civil war in Iraq, but he is right about it coming..
One way or another Iraq is fucked.
